Yanmar Reopens Branch in Earthquake-affected Iwate Prefecture

Yanmar Marine System Co., Ltd.
Three months after the devastating earthquake of March 11, Yanmar has reopened a sales and service branch in the city of Sanriku to serve the local small fishing-boat market.
Operations previously carried out by four Iwate and Miyagi prefecture branches that were destroyed in the earthquake were provisionally integrated into the Sanriku Office as of June 1, 2011, towards timely business recovery and improved customer support.
